GNU General Public License is the software license used by Piga Software. The GNU General Public License is maintained by the Free Software Foundation, it is a free software license that allows the redistribution, studying, copying and modifying of the program and its source code. The GNU General Public License is a "copyleft" license, it requires that every redistribution and modification of a released program fall under the same license, and thus preserve its free status. Many free software projects like the Linux kernel use the GNU General Public License. Currently Piga Software uses version three of the GNU General Public License and if ever a version version four would be released it would be studied by the Piga staff and probably adopted.
